Teaching & Mentoring

In the classroom, my first priority is to create learning experiences that are both academically rigorous and deeply transformative. I believe in empowering students to think critically and apply their knowledge to solve real-world challenges.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe that education is about more than simply sharing knowledge—it’s about empowering students to think critically, separate ideas from individuals, and apply their learning to real-world complexities. I strive to create a classroom that is a brave space where students can express themselves freely and tackle abstract concepts through active, discussion-led learning. My goal is to meet students where they are, help them develop into confident problem-solvers, and model what it means to be a lifelong learner.

For me, this philosophy is inseparable from my practice of mentorship. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of students and scholars, and I am consistently dedicated to providing the mentorship and support needed to turn academic potential into tangible professional success. My teaching and mentoring is built on a commitment to creating meaningful, high-impact learning experiences that foster personal growth and contribute to the next generation of leaders.
