Research

My work focuses on the praxis of leadership—the vital link between theory and real-world action. Dedicated to expanding the academic discourse on leadership education and its role in fostering a more just world, my research is grounded in the belief that leadership is not just a position but a process of influence and collaboration.

My work is centered around three core themes:

  • Leadership Development: My scholarship is dedicated to developing leaders who understand that true progress requires both intellect and heart. I focus on creating a new kind of leader—one who leverages data-driven insights while remaining deeply empathetic. This work is built on the belief that we all thrive when our communities thrive and that our decisions, no matter how small, have a ripple effect that touches people we may never meet.
  • High-Impact Program Development: I am passionate about creating programs that translate academic concepts into tangible skills. From securing over $1.16 million in funding for educational initiatives to redesigning curricula that have increased student success and career placement, my work is centered on building and sustaining high-quality programs.
  • Fostering Holistic Well-being: My research and administrative practice champion the well-being of faculty, staff, and students. I have led initiatives—from implementing departmental wellness resources to advising on university-wide policy—that create more supportive and inclusive academic communities.
